Caleb Hill, Tutor

Caleb is an avid reader and aspiring writer. He is always reading at least 2 books–one fiction, and one non-fiction. Caleb loves good storytelling in all its forms, including books, essays, comics, movies, TV, video games, and campfire tales. He believes in UFOs, and also that through effort and persistence, He can become a Jedi. Caleb is pursing his AA in Anthropology.

Calli Pingatore-Eagleroad, Tutor

Calli loves to write all kinds of stories. Other than writing, she really loves reading, watching movies (she is a huge movie nerd; Especially when it comes to the Flash and other super heroes!), playing games, and going on drives. Calli is pursuing an AA in English.

Cindy Huckfeldt, Tutor

Cindy earned an Associates in English from Casper College, and both a Bachelors and a Masters in English from University of Wyoming.  Cindy worked Casper College’s Writing Center when it first opened while she was working on her AA.  After she retired from teaching, Cindy again had the opportunity to work at the Writing Center. Cindy is comfortable leading writers through any stage of the writing process.  She has a strong background in MLA and APA documentation, grammar, and sentence structure. Cindy also teaches quilting, and she is VERY happy to share pictures of her adorable “kitten,” Atticus.

Jason Kirkmeyer, Tutor

Jason Kirkmeyer earned undergraduate degrees in English and Secondary Education from the University of Wyoming, then completed his MA in literature, also at UW. Jason has 18 years of experience teaching all of the English classes that nobody wants to take, including Freshman Composition, Introduction to Literature, Technical and Workplace Writing, and Composition Pedagogy. He has also worked in academic settings, serving as an editorial assistant for Eighteenth-Century Life from 2010-2018. Jason takes only walk-in appointments.

Tiana Stover, Tutor

Tiana is a sophomore Geology major at Casper College who loves all things literature (especially the gothic horror stuff). She spends most of her time listening to dinosaur podcasts and watching Doctor Who. In the future, she hopes to pursue her degree to a bachelor’s or masters, and find a career that allows her to learn new things about cool rocks.

Kathryn Morgan, Assistant Director

Katie is the Writing Center Assistant Director. She is a graduate of West Virginia University and has a Bachelor’s in English with a minor in Professional Writing and Editing, and also a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. Katie earned her master’s in 2022 for English where she focused on rhetoric and Gothic literature. Katie has experience working as a technical writer in both the software and oil industries. She is proficient in understanding and utilizing style guides such as APA, MLA, and APSA. Whether you are needing simple guidance on how to start or the final touches put in to polish off your paper, Katie can help you think through your assignments and reach your goal.

Katie Morrison, Tutor

Katie’s favorite past-time is shopping, and when she’s not shopping… she’s definitely thinking about all the things she wants to buy. Besides shopping, she absolutely loves to read and write. She loves to spend time outdoors, and traveling is also a very important aspect of her life. Katie is pursuing her AS in Psychology. 

Huldah Belay, Tutor

Huldah absolutely loves to watch and review movies. Screenwriting is her passion, and Huldah is an avid Letterboxd user. Her four favorite films (in no particular order) are Sorry to Bother You, Fantastic Mr.Fox, Moonlight, and The Phoenician Scheme. Huldah spends her weekends sleeping in as late as she can, and volunteers at Banner Hospital, as she hopes to be a psychiatrist in the future.

Keenan Morgan, Tutor

Keenan is a student at the University of Wyoming at Casper and is currently pursuing a career in secondary education. Keenan graduated from Casper College in 2024 with degrees in Education, Political Science, and History. He is very interested in politics and likes to keep up with the daily news. Keenan enjoys writing about contemporary political issues and will gladly explain political processes to others to the best of his ability. He is a very patient and calm person and will give suggestions where he sees room for improvement. Keenan is the most comfortable with papers about real-world issues, opinions, politics, and history. He hopes to build up his own writing and teaching skills while helping others develop their own skills.

Denise Wales Wendinger, Tutor

Denise enjoys reading mysteries and completing puzzles like Sudoku. In the past, she has engaged in blogging and writing fictional first-person anecdotes, short stories, and essays. Denise enjoys reading legal documents and technical writing. She is pursuing her associate’s degree, specializing in paralegal studies. Denise’s strengths include proof-reading, indicating areas where students could improve their paper by using quotes and examples from the text, and exchanging ideas with students that have difficulty in beginning their papers. Denise is happy to help, whether someone is writing a resume or proving a thesis.

Emma Brummer, Tutor

Emma is a full-time teacher with Casper Christian School, teaching History, English, an other electives. She has been a tutor in the writing center for several years, and although her schedule is busy, Emma still makes time for Casper College students. Emma enjoys music, history, language and just learning new things in general. She excels at organizing and brainstorming papers, and can do the basics well. Revision and editing are also strengths of hers. Emma is fairly comfortable working with students whose first language is not English. Emma hopes to work on improving her writing as she help others improve theirs.

Jamie Smith, Tutor

Jamie has an associate degree in Social Science from Western Wyoming and an associate of arts in English from Casper College. She is currently studying English with the University of Wyoming at Casper. She specializes in MLA, essays, creative writing, poetry, and general writing. She is a published poet and writer.
