Click the button below to view our appointment schedule for in person, online, and after hours appointments. See the section below for more information and to schedule by tutor.

All services and resources are free and available to any writer working on any type of writing project for any purpose. This includes all members of the CC and UW/CC communities, and the larger Casper community as well.

Our purpose is to engage in in a conversation and to help you gain a better understanding of writing. We offer assistance at all stages of the writing process — from brainstorming to help with citation to final edits of a full draft.

Process of an Appointment:

  • Your paper is typically read aloud during a session, either by you or the tutor. This helps to catch errors in mechanics, grammar, flow, and organization.
  • The tutor will pinpoint problem areas and help you to learn how to identify and fix those issues. The tutor will also discuss options for revision.
  • A typical session lasts between 30 and 50 minutes.
  • We are happy to help with both course assignments and personal writing projects.

Types of Appointment:

  • In-person Appointments: You would come to the Writing Center on the Casper College Campus.
  • Online Appointments: You would meet with a tutor online via Google Meets.
  • After Hours Appointments: You would meet with a tutor after the Writing Center’s usual hours (typically Saturdays or Sundays) at the Goodstein Foundation Library on the Casper College Campus.

I earned an Associates in English from Casper College, and both a Bachelors and a Masters in English from UW.  I worked the Casper College’s Writing Center when it first opened while I was working on my AA.  After I retired from teaching, I again had the opportunity to work at the Writing Center. I am comfortable leading writers through any stage of the writing process.  I have a strong background in MLA documentation, grammar, and sentence structure. I also teach quilting, and I am VERY happy to share pictures of my adorable kitten, Atticus.

My name is Keenan and I am a student here at the University of Wyoming at Casper currently pursuing a career in secondary education. I graduated from Casper College in 2024 with degrees in Education, Political Science, and History. I am very interested in politics and like to keep up with the daily news. I enjoy writing about contemporary political issues and will gladly explain political processes to others to the best of my ability. I am a very patient and calm person and will give suggestions where I see room for improvement. I am most comfortable with papers about real-world issues, opinions, politics, and history. I am hoping to build up my own writing and teaching skills and help others develop their own skills.

I am a graduate student and a school teacher. I enjoy music, history, language and just learning new things in general. I am good at organizing and brainstorming papers, and can do the basics well. Revision and editing are also strengths of mine. I am fairly comfortable working with students whose first language is not English. I hope to work on improving my own writing as I help others improve theirs.
